Now wouldn't it be great if we were able to generate electricity from our buildings and the utilities we use everyday. A majority of the technology required to enable this is available on the market today, although requiring a few adjustments in order to meet specific demands. Using wind and solar power combined with generating power from our utilities allows us to use this in stand alone, multi family or high-rise developments, even tying whole communities together generating power where its needed. By combining all the power generating systems in a building together it should be possible to generate the buildings power requirements along with a surplus to the grid greatly reducing the cost of operating the building or best case making a profit, not to forget the benefit of job creation all the way from R&D all the way to sales and install.
