In 1994 at the age of 40, Christopher had a spontaneous spiritual awakening at a two-week silent retreat (Satsang) with the American woman spiritual teacher Gangaji, who at that time told Christopher, "Go out and speak the Truth to as many people as possible." Having studied and practiced Buddhism for 20 years now, Christopher has been living as a Buddhist Monk since 2001. In 2004, Christopher was a contributing editor for Shambhala Sun, a popular Buddhist Magazine. 2012 marks the ground breaking and building of his retreat center on five secluded pristine river front acres only minutes from the majestic southern Washington coast, as he continues to walk the path of a Satsang teacher in the linage of Gangaji, Sri H.W.L.
