In 1991, Nancy Vermillion, Nancy with an E, has driven with college friends to experience Naples Florida on her spring break. Nance as come to Florida to experience all that spring break has come to mean. Boys, girls, beach parties, music, drugs, sex, and love. Working part time at a run down, off the beach, motel is all Nance can afford for her two-week vacation in Florida. Nance is an artist who hasn't tasted life. In one week, working at the Life's-a-Beach Motel, Nance experiences the full cycle of life: friendship, sex, love, betrayal, and death. In the process, she learns walking on life's dangerous edge is exciting, but when you step over the edge into the dark, you need someone to pull you back.
