Heather Lynn was a missionary in Kenya for seven years, establishing the Adopt-A-Legacy ministry aimed at serving the underprivileged as well as AIDS sufferers & their children. Heather was responsible for fund-raising in order to develop businesses through micro-loans. She also raised the funds and oversaw the design and building of the Legacy Orphan Home. Heather is an established Ghost-Writer with over 50 titles for authors Tony Evans and Bruce Wilkinson. Heather's articles have been published in Today's Christian Woman, Focus on the Family, Real FamilyLife, Billy Graham's Decision Magazine, DTS Kindred Spirit, Marriage Partnership, Youthworker's Journal & more.Heather has worked in the non-profit sector for over 20 years and has served in a variety of capacities from Event Director, Fundraiser, Business Development Strategist, Marketer and more. Her current role over strategy, marketing & development has been in place for the last seven years. Heather initiated the adoption of HubSpot's Inbound marketing software and approach in 2011 as the first Christian non-profit organization to utilize it.
HubSpot has stated as recently as 2017 that one of the initiated Inbound forms is the most downloaded Lead Generation forms in all of HubSpot's customers (with close to 300,000 downloads.)Heather has consulted in the areas of non-profit business growth and Inbound marketing with multiple organizations, including Proverbs 31. She is also the Senior Editor of "A Kingdom Approach to Social Outreach" curriculum for a 3-credit-hour course taught at Dallas Theological Seminary, and has taught the Marketing and Non-Profit Communication & Growth portion of the class for several years.
