Former Discovery Prize and Lavan Award winner, Richard Lyons is a professor of Literature and Creative Writing at Mississippi State University. He has published poetry collections entitled These Modern Nights, Hours of the Cardinal, Fleur Carnivore, and Un Poco Loco. He has published poems in journals like Poetry, The Nation, the New Republic, diode, and The Gettysburg Review.
