BOOK OF SWORDS graphically chronicles 2 years in a writer's life. A violent fraud, breaking all the laws he was hired to enforce, runs an impoverished horror writer off his part-time job with nowhere to go but the streets: he overcomes alcoholism and enormous medical and financial obstacles; survives in a wooded clearing with jack rabbits; and keeps writing and publishing.
