Rosemary Lyster is Professor of Climate and Environmental Law at Sydney Law School, University of Sydney. She served as Director of the Australian Centre for Climate and Environmental Law between 2003-2015 and is current the Director for Australia and New Zealand of the Global Network on Human Rights and the Environment. Rosemary's research and teaching focuses on Climate Disaster Law, climate justice, Energy and Climate Law, Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Degradation (REDD+) and Water Law. Zada Lipman is an Emeritus Professor in the School of Law, Macquarie University. She has taught a number of subjects in the area of environmental law, including pollution law, hazardous waste management, contaminated land and planning law. She has published extensively in these areas and has co-authored five books and over sixty articles and chapters. Zada is the Australian editor of the Environmental Liability Journal (UK) and is on the editorial board of the Environmental and Planning Law Journal. Zada is a member of the IUCN - the World Conservation Union Commission on Environmental Law.
She is a member of the Commission's Special Working Group on Enforcement and Compliance and the Special Working Group on Oceans, Coasts and Coral Reefs. Nicola Franklin is Honorary Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Law, University of Sydney. Over many years she taught a range of public law and environmental law subjects, including Environmental Planning Law, Environmental Impact Assessment Law and Administrative Law. Prior to her retirement she coordinated the Faculty's Postgraduate Environmental Law Program, was Deputy Director of the Australian Centre for Climate and Environmental Law and co-edited the Asia Pacific Journal of Environmental Law. Linda Pearson is a Commissioner, Land and Environment Court of New South Wales, and a Visiting Fellow, Faculty of Law University of New South Wales. Before joining the Court in 2009 she taught Administrative Law and Environmental Law at the University of New South Wales. She is the author of Local Government Law in New South Wales (Federation Press), the former Natural Resources editor for Australian Administrative Law, and is a member of the IUCN Commission on Environmental Law. Graeme Wiffen taught Heritage Law and Planning Law in the School of Law, Macquarie University, Sydney, and writes on legal aspects of the protection of natural and cultural heritage.
He is a member of ICLAFI, the international scientific committee on legal issues relating to cultural heritage of the International Committee for Monuments and Sites. Graeme is also the vice president of the National Parks Association of New South Wales.
