Peter Marshall was a BBC journalist who became involved in the development of satellite communications for global TV news coverage and distribution, working as a senior executive in the USA for 12 years. In his retirement back in the UK, he has written and edited six books on the space and satellite business, as well as two biographies. More recently he turned to fiction with two favourably reviewed spy thrillers - "The Russian Lieutenant" and "Beyond the Funeral".
