This comprehensive workbook is packed with easy-to-implement strategies and ideas for aspiring or practicing paraeducators and is aligned with the National Paraprofessional Standards. It has been extensively field-tested with educators in both rural and urban settings throughout Connecticut as well as nationally. In addition to paraeducators, this workbook can be used as a tool for substitutes, tutors, instructional assistants, and new teachers as well. This workbook provides research-based strategies to provide accommodations and modifications to help students achieve independent reading, writing, and studying skills. Paraeducators with be able to learn and apply critical instructional behaviors during all stages of a lesson.
