Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) Scott Mann is a former U.S. Army Green Beret with multiple tours in Afghanistan. Scott is also the founder of Task Force Pineapple, a group of volunteer veterans advocating for the abandoned Afghan People. Scott is a warrior storyteller, 3 time TEDx Speaker, and the founder of Rooftop Leadership where he shares the rapport-building skills he learned in Special Forces to help today's leaders make better human connections in high-stakes, low-trust engagements. He is also the founder of the 501c3 The Heroes Journey, where he helps warriors, first responders, and their families find their voices and tell their stories in order to bridge the civil-military divide. After undergoing a difficult transition from military life and combat where he almost took his own life, Mann not only wrote Last Out, but also originated the role of "Danny Patton" in the world premiere production, first two tours, and film. Last Out sheds light on the unforeseen toll of war on our Veterans and their families, and has been seen by over 80,000 people, toured 16 cities, led to 250+ PTS interventions by trained counselors, and been performed for 75 Gold Star Families.
Yet, amidst his numerous achievements, Mann holds his marriage and three grown sons as his greatest source of pride and accomplishment.
