The new book is yet again about Louden Nelson but a focus on the California Gold Rush, American History, and the mid 1800's Knowing the past is a road map to our future stated Franklin who said "I've been very inspired by this book I wrote on Mary Pleasant an ex-slave which not many people know about. She was worth thirty million dollars in the 1800's, and freed hundreds of slaves. A woman with real passion whom I've learn a lot about and been inspired by.
