A strange course of events carried him to the first plateau - a seat in The General Assembly, where he looked to greener pastures.Frank Charleston entered this world with his roots firmly planted in a long-successful and wealthy family that made its money creating economic opportunities for themselves and many others in The Peninsula. Frank was the third generation to travel this road, and while waiting for an opening in the family business, he saw unmet needs and was bit by the political bug.Jake Parks, unlike the other two Democrats was raised to hate Roosevelt and be a Republican.
