It's a busy day in Washington DC. All government institutions are fully active. All major media figures are attending a presidential conference on media bias. Key military officers from around the world have been called into town for a high-level summit. Only one major figure is not there: the president. He had to leave town suddenly for a family emergency. It's then a nuclear blast destroys the city and most of its inhabitants. Yes, it happened.
What didn't happen was the establishment of a trifecta of superpowers - America, Russia, and China -- to rule America and to stamp out democracy around the world. It didn't happen because one journalist organizes a team of American freedom fighters to say no.
