Certified in reading and writing pedagogy and a method of multiple intelligences, Laura Mayer has taught educators, adults, teens, and children for almost two decades. She also has a Master's in professional writing and rhetoric. As a child, Laura was captivated with the wholesome, instructive stories of The Berenstain Bears books, reading them until she fell sleep every night. She wrote The Gentle Parenting Way, a children book series focused on connection in relationship, for newer generations of parents and children. Laura, her husband, and their two sons live on a small, wooded haven with two cats, one who plays fetch and the other who escaped from a coyote's dinner plate!.
