A collection of my photographs taken in some of Scotland's Paradise Places. During 2021 I spent 90 days exploring in the Scottish Highlands, the North Coast 500 and the Outer Hebrides. We enjoyed unprecedented levels of sunshine and dry conditions for the full summer season. These photos capturing those glorious days were taken on my iphone 12 mini. I'm a Scottish Outdoorsman. I enjoy fishing, kayaking, camping, hillwalking, gorge walking and cycling on my road trips. My adventures started in April and I enjoyed around 90 days wild camping and road tripping around Scotland until my holidays ended on 21st September. They included 14 days on Lewis and Harris in August where it never rained for those 14 days.
It was the driest summer since 1880. Indeed i hardly saw any rain for the entire 90 days. These pictures capture the best summer of my life in Scotland, a magical time. I enjoyed some of the best adventure days of my life. It was dry and sunny most of the time. I kayak camped for 9 nights into the wild on Lewis and Harris in the Outer Hebrides with not one drop of rain. It was out of this world. I was living the dream.
I kayaked the River Tweed and the River Dee from 'source to sea', during these summer days. Both rivers were 4 day and 3 night kayak camping adventures. Scotland is such a beautiful country. The Scottish Highlands are one of the wonders of the world. A paradise place.
