Mary McGrane lives, writes and cooks in the U.S. and is always creating something new. With a degree in Creative Writing, she has published poetry and has performed Poetry Readings at the "Open Mic" at the Cinema Arts Centre in Huntington, NY and has several books in progress. Mary uses photography as a medium to showcase her passion for both animals and nature, and has appeared on television's National Geographic "Rescue Ink Unleashed" in the episode "Street Rules" in 2009 for her life story on animal rescue. Her photographs of nature, including waterfalls and ocean scenes, have been exhibited at the Huntington Arts Council. Her favorite photographic portrait of a visiting Snowy Owl from Canada won Honorable Mention at the Firefly Artists Gallery in Northport, NY.
