Mary McGrane lives, writes and creates in the U.S. With a degree in Creative Writing, she has published poetry and has performed Poetry Readings at the "Open Mic" at the Cineman Arts Centre in Huntington, N.Y. And has several books on progress. mary uses photography as a medium to showcase her passion for both animals and nature, and has appeared on National Geographic's "Resuce Ink Unleashed" in the episode called "Street Rules" in 2009 for her role in animal rescue. her photographs of nature, including waterfalls and ocean scenes have been exhibited at the Huntington Art Council. her favorite photographic portrait of a visiting Snowy Owl from Canada won Honorable Mention at the Firefly Artists Gallery in Birthport, NY.
