James D. Meadows is an ASME Certified Senior Level Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing Professional. He has been a full time GD&T writer, trainer and consultant for decades. Mr. Meadows has written textbooks, workbooks, papers, newsletters, tests and articles based on ASME Y14.5 Dimensioning and Tolerancing revisions issued in 1994, 2009 and 2018. His bestselling books cover a wide variety of products from industries throughout the world. Due to his degrees, journeyman's card and experience in industry, his books cover how to address requirements in design, manufacturing and inspection.

He is a nationally and internationally recognized GD&T expert and is an active member of too many standard's committees to list here, including the Y14 Main Committee that monitors and votes on all ASME documentation standards.
