Laura L. Meyer is a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern, Bible Teacher and Author. With a focused interest on women in crisis living in underprivileged communities, she addresses and integrates psycho-social and mental health issues with fresh, entertaining and challenging perspectives through expository teaching from the penetrating and healing Word of God. Laura is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary, with a Master's degree in Biblical Counseling and a Graduate Teacher Diploma in Biblical Studies. She has also authored 30 Days in August, an autobiography that documents her transition from a 17-year career as a Corporate Crude Oil Analyst for multinational oil company Royal Dutch Shell to her current ministry career. Laura was born in Barbados and currently lives in DeSoto, Texas with her husband Brett .
