Laura Meyer is a writer, educator and designer. Over more than two decades, Laura has spent years teaching, giving presentations and demonstrations on Victorian-era fashion and undergarments, among other topics. She holds multiple degrees from Alverno College, including a masters in Education. Operating as Twilight Attire since 2001, in 2021 she officially launched Twilight Ember Education Services, LLC, to serve as an umbrella company covering her product lines as well as educational offerings. Since 1999 she has hosted and participated in numerous art and fashion shows, flexing her 2D art muscles beyond the usual textile creations. When the boss allows her free time, she enjoys reading, PC gaming, camping, inconsistently dropping blurbs into her blog Repleating History, and giving lots of attention to her furry feline boy Garrus (without neglecting other, less furry boys).
