Anne lives in sunny Orange Park, Florida, is a licensed Florida State Wildlife Rehabilitator, and has been rehabbing area wildlife since 1979. She specialized in small mammal rehabilitation and has a great love of flying squirrels and raccoons, though she has raised everything from Thoroughbred horses to mice. Anne love teaching other people to rescue and care for all wildlife, even the ones she doesn¿t like much (birds and reptiles).Anne is a retired nurse, CDA (what does this stand for), and deputy sheriff (communications then correction officer at the Clay Country Sheriff¿s Department in Florida). She attended several schools and colleges, and she has a lifelong love of learning.Anne is a grandmother of 3: The twins, Corey and Ashley, and her precious Riley, and is HOF to Leer Jett, Muffin Squirrel, Goldie Locks, Darla Two, and Merle and Pearl McSquirrel!.
