In 2021, our family was thrust into the world of pediatric cancer when our son, Luke, was diagnosed with stage III T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma shortly after his third birthday. What began as a simple concern over an enlarged lymph node turned into an arduous journey involving nine transfusions, 12 spinal taps, 132 rounds of chemotherapy, and 998 days of in-home treatments. Luke's unyielding positivity became a hope for our family throughout these challenging times. Inspired by our son's bravery and the emotional rollercoaster we endured, Luke and the Lost Bell was born, a heartfelt children's book designed to help young cancer patients and their families understand and navigate their journey.
