Melissa Rose Miller was born and raised in Huntington Beach, California, and now resides in Long Beach, California, where there is an affluent skate community. She is an author, artist, photographer, and skateboarder. Miller is also the author of the self-published, self-illustrated work, "Devilish Imperfections." She is a writer and photographer for Living Zine and The Luna Collective Magazine. Miller earned three associate degrees from Golden West College in English, Elementary Education, and Liberal Arts and Humanities. She also graduated from the California State University of Long Beach, earning her Bachelor of Arts in English Education with an emphasis in Creative Writing.
