This book explores and highlights exceptional moments of courage in the lives of women in the Bible. They faced danger with powerful convictions and their victories inspire us. They prayed with soul wrenching sincerity, talked with angels, sat as queens, and witnessed miracles. Women today are just as heroic; watch their response when a child is in danger or justice is cheated. This study approaches and evaluates the histories of more than a dozen brave women from two perspectives. First, we examine their account in Bible scriptures to obtain a clear understanding of their situations and challenges. Second, using our imaginations, we conduct an exercise in conjecture to fill in the blank spots where the Bible is brief and leaves out the details we are curious about. While we must never change the content or purposes of the Bible, we may at least ponder about any probable activities that quietly energized and supported the circumstances.
