Born in Ronan, completing school in Darby, and attending three different colleges in Montana, Paul Moody went to war in Vietnam with noble motives but returned with something bordering shame. He owned and operated a successful drive-in restaurant until he was severely brain damaged in a moped accident and has been a structural painter for the last twenty-eight years. He feels he has lived an interesting life and hopes it has given him something worth saying to the reader.
