This raw, funny, angry, and ultimately sad story is fashioned from the folds, torn bits, and war-time experiences of three very different men-Juvenile Delinquent Johnathon Riley O'Brien (white), Private First Class Reginald "Reggie" J. Holcombe (black), and National Liberation Front soldier Kim Xuan Duong (Asian). Beginning in the Big Apple with Irish street urchin John O'Brien's life of poverty and desperation, Dime-Store Quarter Dozen weaves it's way to Vietnam where we meet rule-follower and war supporter African American Reggie Holcombe ; finally we experience the exaggerated "Dr. Strangelove" Communistic propaganda that Vietnamese soldier Kim Xuan Duong (and his cadre) forces John and Reggie to endure in the POW camps frequenting the border between Cambodia and Vietnam. Choice-A potshot in the wind is better than pissin in our drawers.
