Sarah Hauer was raised in the little town of Hector, Minnesota, a community still near and dear to her heart. Sarah is a Lupus warrior and an advocate for awareness of the lifelong effects of sexual assault and abuse. Along with painting, writing has become her way of dealing with the stresses of disease and helping to make the general public more comfortable with conversations around difficult subjects. Sarah currently lives in Southern California.
