Mike Nguyen received his BFA in character animation at The California Institute of the Arts in 1988. His main interest is to express thoughts and feelings in relation to the human spirit through visual means, especially through the traditional animation filmmaking medium. In 2000, he co-founded July Films and his directing debut is the independent theatrical animated feature, My Little World”, soon to be released. Issa” is his first expression in book form.
