Michael O'Donnell is a serial entrepreneur, author, instructor, startup strategist, and M&A advisor. He has deep expertise in starting, funding, building, advising and selling startup companies backed by angel investors and venture capital. He has raised more than $50M in venture financing. O'Donnell founded Ask-Me Multimedia (acquired by Midisoft), iCopyright.com (ongoing), and StartupBiz.com (ongoing), among other companies. He was on the launch teams of CompuServe Sprynet, one of the first national Internet Service Providers (went public as part of CompuServe in 1996), and Design Intelligence (acquired by Microsoft).O'Donnell is the author of two best-selling books on business planning and marketing planning, as well as a critically-acclaimed book on professionalism.

He served as Chairman of the Northwest Entrepreneurs Network in Seattle, Washington and as a Director/Mentor for The Founder Institute in Tampa and Fort Lauderdale. O'Donnell ran two programs for Startup Quest in South Florida and served as the Executive Managing Director of Thesis Ventures, one of the first early-stage venture funds and company builders in the state of Florida. He currently teaches startup business planning for a federally-funded program and works with entrepreneurs, investors and private equity groups to fund, buy and sell growth-stage companies.O'Donnell attended the University of Florida and completed the Executive Management Program at Stanford University.
