Dawn O'Neal was born in Washington state and grew up in Southeastern Washington until she relocated to Tacoma and Seattle for a few years. There, she worked in accounting and, for a short stint, at a radio station in Seattle before California called. She quickly transferred residency to the Bay Area and adapted well to the more temperate climate in San Jose, California, where her Accounting by Dawn business kept her very busy. She also met her future husband, Tom Binder, about the time she decided to change careers and became a Broker/REALTOR® for 35 years. In late 2000, she and Tom settled in the Great Northwest after discovering Sequim, a small town in Washington state across the Strait of Juan de Fuca - just South of Victoria, BC. Dawn is still a REALTOR® working with referrals and pursuing her writing dream to be a published author, like her sister Sally.
