Seduction and eroticism were central themes of 18th-century French art and culture. This book, which accompanies an exhibition in the Hermitage Rooms at Somerset House, draws together a wide range of material from the State Hermitage Museum including important paintings, drawings, decorative arts and a recently discovered group of erotic prints which formed part of the Tsars' private libraries.
