Dip.E.C.V.D. MRCVS, RCVS and European Recognised Specialist in Veterinary Dermatology. Sue Paterson qualified from Cambridge University Vet School 1984, she gained her Certificate in Small Animal Dermatology 1990, her British Diploma in Veterinary Dermatology October 1994, and her European Diploma in Veterinary Dermatology in 1996. She is recognised by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and the European College of Veterinary Dermatology as a specialist in Veterinary Dermatology.
She has contributed to numerous text books and published extensively in the literature. She has lectured extensively at major national and international meetings in the UK, Europe and the United States. Sue is a Veterinary Director of Rutland House Surgery Ltd in St Helens currently the biggest private referral practice in the North West of England, where she has been Director of Veterinary Dermatology for 12 years. The referral service is probably one of the busiest in the country boasting 3 full time veterinary dermatologists and 4 full time specialist veterinary nurses. She is the veterinary adviser to DermapetUK a dermatological company specialising in shampoos and ear products for veterinary surgeons in practice. Prue Neath BSc(Hons) BVetMed Dip. ACVS Dip. She was Head of Small Animal surgery at the Animal Health Trust in Newmarket and has lectured extensively at CPD meetings, as well as publishing in veterinary texts and scientific journals. She is highly qualified as a Diplomate of both the American and European Colleges of Veterinary Surgery and is recognised as a Royal College specialist in Soft Tissue surgery.
