The book of life takes the reader through the pressingly unusual mindset of Phaze as he lashes out at issues plaguing not only the urban demographic but our human society as a whole. From government debacles to religious beliefs, Phaze takes a bird's eye view of humanity and brings it to our undivided attention. This collection of conscious poetry was created to make you think, to see beyond what most of us are fed and told throughout our lives. Embodying the power of vivid rap lyrics and poetic thought, this work was made to awaken. As the author puts it, "this book is dedicated to the everyday people who need to see things from a different perspective. Sometimes we can get so enwrapped in our own individual worlds that we don't see a way out of it all but listening to people from another path in life can give us hope and help us push to new heights and achieve things we did not believe were possible.
