When Aaron arrives on the Isle of Wight to start afresh as a therapist, he discovers his new workplace is implicated in suspicion and tragedy. His predecessor, Victor, killed a patient and then himself - or so the police claim. But Alba, one of Victor's ex-patients, is convinced something else went on, and orders Aaron to uncover the truth. He seems to be reluctantly drawn into investigating what really happened, but is there more to Aaron's involvement, and his reasons for coming to the Isle, than he has let on? His growing obsession with clearing Victor's name threatens to unravel his job, his new life and his budding romance with local police officer Simu. Was Victor really a victim, or is Aaron just refusing to accept that a therapist like him could be a killer? And, if so - what would that mean Aaron himself is capable of?.
