When therapist Aaron Pereira arrives on the Isle of Wight seeking a fresh start, the last thing he expects is to find himself caught in a tragedy. The police suspect that his predecessor, Dr Geoffrey Miller, is guilty of murdering a former patient. The problem? He's nowhere to be found. As long-buried secrets come to light, Aaron finds himself questioning everything the authorities claim and is drawn to investigate. After all, what would drive a respected and kindly therapist to harm a patient they're sworn to protect? And even worse - if a therapist like him could be a killer, what might Aaron himself be capable of?.
