Loretta Pehanich has a degree from the Annenberg School of Communication at the University of Southern California and is a longtime member of the Catholic Press Association. She is an integrated communications and fundraising professional with 12 years experience in nonprofit leadership. A free lance writer (Catholic News Service and other Catholic publications), Loretta's executive experience includes work as assistant editor of the Catholic newspaper at the Diocese of San Jose, capital campaign director for Catholic parishes throughout the West, magazine editor at Bellarmine College Preparatory and positions at Christ the King Retreat Center, Cristo Rey High School, and the St. Vincent de Paul Society of San Mateo County. Loretta has been engaged in ministry all her adult life, including retreat teams in the Bay Area and Southern California, and 15 years in small group leadership. She is a spiritual director, with training from the Bread of Life Center in Sacramento. She is a wife, mother of four, grandmother and community and church volunteer.
