Lincoln Peirce is a cartoonist/writer and the creator of the comic strip Big Nate , which appears in over 400 newspapers and online at gocomics.com/bignate. He has also written and illustrated several New York Times bestselling books for young readers, including the Big Nate novels and the Max & the Midknights trilogy. Both series have been adapted for television by Nickelodeon. Lincoln lives and works in Portland, Maine.
