John Perry is the Henry Walgrave Stuart Professor Emeritus of Philosophy at Stanford University and Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Philosophy at University of California, Riverside. He is author of Personal Identity (University of California Press, 1975); A Dialogue on Personal Identity and Immortality (Hackett, 1978), and many other works on personal identity, the self, consciousness, philosophy of mind, and philosophy of language.Michael Bratman is the U.G. and Abbie Birch Durfee Professor in the School of Humanities and Sciences and Professor of Philosophy at Stanford University. He is author of Intention, Plans, and Practical Reason (Harvard University Press, 1987); Faces of Intention: Selected Essays on Intention and Agency (Cambridge UP, 1999); and many other works on action, intention, the will, and group agency.John Martin Fischer is Distinguished Professor of Philosophy at University of California, Riverside and University Professor in the University of California system. He's the author of The Metaphysics of Free Will: An Essay on Control (Blackwell, 1994); and (with Mark Ravizza) Responsibility and Control: A Theory of Moral Responsibility (Cambridge University Press, 1998); and many other works on free will, moral responsibility, death, immortality, and meaning in life.

Yuval Avnur is Professor of Philosophy at Scripps College, Claremont. He is author of Why Read Pascal Today? (Cambridge University Press, 2026); The Skeptic and the Veridicalist: On The Difference Between Knowing What There Is and Knowing What Things Are (Cambridge University Press, 2023); and many other works on Pascal, epistemology (both theoretical and applied), metaphysics, and philosophy of religion.
