Lisa Westberg Peters is the author of several other books for children. She lives with her family in St. Paul, Minnesota When Cathie Felstead was growing up, she spent a lot of time up mountains, in river beds, and hanging off cliff faces collecting specimens with her father, who studied geology at London University. She is the illustrator of several picture books. The artist lives and works with her husband; their two children, William and Louisa; and six cats in Hertfordshire, England.
