Born and raised in Washington D.C., Isaiah B. Pickens attended George Washington University. His college experiences ranged from student government to athletics, and created the desire to explore the issues most relevant to young adults and pursue a career in psychology. Pickens is currently a graduate student in clinical psychology at Fordham University. He plans to continue developing stories that are relevant to the lives of young people. He is the founder of iOPENING ENTERPRISES, a creative arts firm, and Generation Why Movement, a nonprofit organization geared toward providing self-improvement and community engagement resources to young adults between the ages of 18 and 29.
He resides in New York City.
