Born in 1960 and the third boy of a family of six, the author travelled extensively around the globe in his youth with his father who served with the British R.A.F. Finished his schooling at the Saffron Walden County High School in 1976, he studied Engineering at the Cambridge College of Arts and Technology until 1980. At present, in 2008, he is in the final year of a Degree in English Literature with the Open University. (With readings at Bath, Bournemouth, London, Southampton, Basingstoke, and Oxford University.) The author is divorced and living happily with 'man's best friend' in Dorset. This is the author's second adventure into the world of print.
His first book was a biography of the infamous London gangland killer, Ron Kray. The newsreader and television presenter, Fred Dineage, chronologically arranged each chapter to produce the book entitled, Our Story, released and distributed in 1987. The book preceded the major motion picture, The Krays.
