William Porter is the author of a series of fictional novels. His most recent work is entitled "Heaven Can't Wait, or Can it? The Power of Anticipation." In this novel, Porter explores the path of fulfilling our innermost desires. It is the sixth novel in the series where lead character Maggie and her friends continue their quest to find the proverbial Heaven on Earth. This time, it takes a train journey cross country for the characters to figure out what is important in life. During this journey, they find that the anticipation of an abundant life is the key to total fulfillment in relationships with one another. They come to realize that joy in life comes from the anticipation of the good things God has promised us all if we believe. The power of anticipation is the assurance of receiving that joy, both in this physical life on earth and in the life that is yet to come.
