John Purcell writes for both adults and children. He has a noted sense of humor as well as unusual insight into the thoughts and feelings of squirrels and various other backyard critters.Originally from Brooklyn, NY, John fled the cold at an early age, taking his family to the sunshine of Florida. He enjoyed a long career in the space program followed by other technical roles before retiring from those pursuits to take up his current career as an author and pundit.
