Dr.B. Ravisankar , Professor, Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli has more than 25 years of Teaching cum Research experience. He has about 150 publications in International and National journals and conferences in the areas of severe plastic deformation, diffusion bonding, wear and corrosion and Nano coatings. He has also published a paper in Nature-Scientific reports on "Nucleation and growth of TiAl3 intermetallic phase in diffusion bonded Ti/Al Metal Intermetallic Laminate". He has contributed a chapter on Equal Channel Angular Pressing (ECAP) in the "Handbook of Mechanical Nanostructuring" published by Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co, Germany and also a Chapter on "Boron carbide: Structure, Processing, Properties and Applications - Series: Materials Science and Technology" Edited by Madhav Reddy Kolan, Nova Science Publishers Inc, New York. Angelo , Ph D, began his career as a scientist at the Defence Metallurgical Research Laboratory(DMRL), Hyderabad, India and is internationally renowned in the fields of Powder Metallurgy, Materials Characterisation for over 40 years. He has taught, researched and published extensively in the areas of electron probe microanalysis, scanning electron microscopy and scanning Auger microprobe. After retiring from DRDO he was Director, Metals Testing and Research Centre, and also Dean, Centre for Sponsored Research and Consultancy as well as for the Centre for Non-formal and Continuing Education at PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore. He has published more than 60 research publications in national and international journals as well as prepared a number of classified reports.
