Richard J. Rhinehart has explored Colorado caves since 1974 and is the founding editor of the journal Rocky Mountain Caving. A graduate of the University of Colorado, he has published articles in the National Speleological Society News, the American Cave Conservation Association's American Caves, Rocky Mountain Sports, and other publications. Rhinehart is a Fellow of the National Speleological Society, a founding director of the society's Williams Canyon Project, and a representative of the Colorado Cave Survey. He makes his home in Greenwood Village, Colorado David Harris has been photographing caves since the late '70s and is a Mississippi State University graduate. His photography has been published in Disney Adventures, Air and Space/Smithsonian, Korea GEO, Scholastic Science World, National Parks, and other publications.
