Kurt Richardson, Ph.D., is a director-level AI and R&D leader with three decades of experience across aerospace, defense, and energy. As Head of R&D at Continuum Resources LLC and a longtime systems engineer with KBR, he defines AI strategy and translates applied research into secure, enterprise-ready solutions spanning generative AI, retrieval-augmented generation, agentic workflows, and predictive analytics on Azure. His earlier work includes SATCOM hardware design and mission-critical communications for NASA at General Dynamics. He is the author of two books on AI for defense systems, holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Southampton, and is a Chartered Physicist and Chartered Mathematician.
