AF Roberts is a poet of Irish and Greek descent, a veteran of Baltimore and Afghanistan, and who seeks to carry on the poetic traditions ingrained in his heritage.He is an adjunct professor of Writing at Fairleigh Dickinson University and a graduate of The New School in New York City with a Master of Fine Arts degree in creative writing. His poems have been translated into Czech, Persian, Hebrew, Italian, and Bengali. His poem "Captain Ahad" recentlyappeared in Southerly Literary Journal. He resides in Alexandria, NJ where he is surrounded by hills, trees, and peace.
