Bruce Robertson (Author) Bruce Robertson is the rector of Berwickshire High School and author of The Teaching Delusion trilogy, published by John Catt Educational. As a chemistry teacher and senior leader, he has been working in education for almost 20 years. In recent years, Bruce has been in high demand as a consultant and conference presenter. He works closely with primary and secondary schools, with a particular focus on pedagogy, curriculum and school leadership. Teachers and school leaders are consistent in their praise for Bruce's passion, clarity and inspirational messages. Bruce lives in East Lothian, in the south-east of Scotland, with his partner and pugs. He enjoys golf, running and collecting vinyl records. He is mildly obsessed with David Bowie and the Pet Shop Boys.

Finola Wilson (Illustrator) Finola Wilson is a former secondary English teacher, and now company director of Impact Wales. Finola started out in education, training and coaching in 1990. More recently, Finola has been supporting schools across the UK, but particularly in Wales and Scotland, to understand how research underpins good teaching and learning. As one half of Impact Wales, she creates simple one-page sketchnotes that bring together visuals and text to help teachers understand research-informed pedagogy. Finola is an avid runner and spent many years running long distance races. Nowadays, she runs just for fun around the beautiful coast & valleys of South Wales, where she lives with her husband and her grown-up sons.
