Hi! I'm Deb, a practicing witch from Yorkshire, England. I've always thought it strange that so many of us are raised to practice magick: to use dandelion clocks for wishes, and daisies for divination, and to practice candle magick when we make a wish over our birthday cakes, then blow. But as time passes, for most of us, the magick of childhood fades. For me, things were different. The more I believed in magick, the more I manifested what I desired, and the more I believed. I didn't always identify as a witch; that came after realising that my great, great grandmother would read tarot, and I decided to see if I had a natural aptitude for it too. And it was on realising I could read intuitively that I became utterly captivated by the art of divination. From there my love of witchcraft blossomed and it has become the centre of my world.

This is not to say that magick is a cure-all for all of life's hardships and problems, but in times of grief, such as when I lost my brother to a car accident, I found turning to my craft helped me to stay grounded rather than spiralling into the pit of despair that was threatening to pull me in, and keep me there. It is natural, when you feel so passionately about something, and when you feel something has saved you, to want to share it with others, and for me that began when my daughter Ella and I opened a charming little magick shop in the heart of Yorkshire. Ella and I would meet witches from far and wide who would pay our shop a visit to have their tarot read, or to buy their magickal supplies, and it was from this shop that we launched Witch Casket, our magickal monthly subscription box. My spells and rituals are now practiced by witches in over sixty countries worldwide. The subscription box became so popular that it outlived our little shop and became our main focus. This was how we were able to reach witches across the world, and make magick more accessible, and more accepted. Our dreams were coming true! For years people have asked me if I'd consider sharing my knowledge by writing books; and writing has always been a great love of mine, so, my Magickal Library book series - The Witch-ionary, The Spell Dispensary, The Herb Dispensary and now this collection of crystal spells - was created. My aim when I write is to empower witches worldwide to embrace their power and walk their own unique path.

Through magick and manifestation I have been able to overcome hardship, grief, and trauma, and manifest the life I desired, and I am honoured to be able to help others to do the same.
