The author looks at a number of factors which may contribute to the decline of the Republican party in national politics, making it virtually impossible for Republican candidates to win presidential elections unless the party undergoes radical transformation - a complete overhaul - to be responsive to the demographic and political changes, even among the white majority, which are bound to take place in the next 20 to 30 years.
