Welcome to a world of miniature aviation! The papers in this box are small, which will result in charmingly tiny planes but requires some attention to detail for best results. Here are my top origami tips, for working in miniature. Be accurate. A small error in your first fold will be amplified as the design progresses, so be precise from the start. Take your time and line up edges accurately. Fold crisply. Work on a hard surface, with plenty of elbow room. Always turn the paper to make the fold as easy as possible, and only make a crease when you're happy with the alignment.

Learn to read the diagrams. Each diagram will offer lots of information. Study it carefully, and check ahead to the next step to see what the result of a fold should look like. All the symbols and lines are explained in the key that follows. Adjust if you must. It is possible to correct a misaligned fold, but the paper will get tired after a couple of attempts. It's sometimes better to start again with a fresh piece. Try again! Make each design several times.

You'll find your accuracy will improve and the results will be better with each attempt.
